Welcome to The Ore Collection

Welcome back to another blog introducing a core collection of Campfire & Compass Jewellery!

This collection is called “Ore” and is an ode to all the rough and dramatic landscapes the UK has to offer. Think of all the gorgeous, grey and angular mountains that Wales has to offer, full of slate – that’s what I was channelling whilst I was carving these forms out of wax ready to be cast in solid metal.

I know you didn’t ask but, honestly, it’s my favourite collection. It’s dramatic and genderless, full of natural angles, rough texture and luxurious shine. It looks incredible in both silver and gold, and it shouldn’t be surprise to you that I wear a gold Ore II ring as my wedding band.

Both the Ore I and II are the wide and slim versions of the ring and make a perfect wedding set, so they can be ordered in silver, yellow gold or white gold. I’d honestly love to make more of the collection in gold, so please hit me up with a custom request if that idea floats your boat!

This collection contains both small and dainty necklaces and bold, chunky bangles. It’s androgynous, minimalist and geometric and I personally think it would suit a number of different styles because of this.
