Serpent Necklace

Historically, serpents symbolise both good and evil across many cultures, but my favourite symbology comes from the shedding of their skins: rebirth. Every day is a do-over - a fresh opportunity to choose kindness and patience in a difficult world, and I think the serpents "rebirth" is the perfect reminder of that.

Hand carved from wax in luscious curves, and cast in recycled sterling silver, this gorgeously chunky snake will rest perfectly on your collarbones on an 18 inch chain. Both the snake and chain have been oxidised and then polished up so that the details and recesses remain black in contrast to the shiny silver.
