The Meaning
Sometimes we go through times in our lives where we feel like we need to hold on to an important relationship and keep it close.
For this reason I've created a very special necklace so that you can keep a memento of your lost loved one close to you.
The Details
The Memento Mori necklace is made from sterling silver with a faceted quartz stone set above a small "well" of resin containing a token of your loved one. I have decided use resin so that no moisture can get in and nothing can find its way out, meaning your loved one is preserved forever. If you would prefer no resin, please let me know, but please be aware that moisture can get into micro-gaps between the stone and the silver and may affect the materials inside.

The Options
There are many different things you can preserve such as:
- Ashes (shown in photos)
- Fur (shown in photos)
- Whiskers
- Hair
- Dried petal from a funeral bouquet
- Feathers
- Snake shed
Listed as a pendant only or with my recommended chain - a slim, high quality 18" belcher. For different chain options select "Pendant Only" and add a chain of your choice from this listing.
For an additional fee, you can have a small detail laser-engraved on the back of your necklace such as your loved ones signature, name, or pawprint. You will need a clear photograph of what you want engraving, and please bear in mind that it will be shrunk down to 7x9mm. If you're unsure if it will fit please contact me before ordering.
The engraving service is carried out by the wonderful Christy of Hendrix and Rogue and will increase lead-times by approximately 1-2 weeks.
The Smallprint
When you place your order, I will send you an email with a disclaimer to sign as I will be working with your precious materials. You will need to sign and send this to me along with the material you wish to be preserved. The email I send you will also contain any special instructions pertaining to your order.
Any material you send me will be handled with the utmost respect and any unused material will be returned to you with your completed necklace.
